Considered an A-lister in Traditional Country according to THE COUNTRY PEOPLE MAGAZINE Vanessa Bourne is an International award-winning Australian Country Singer/Songwriter and has been loyal to Traditional Country for several years.
Her soft mellow voice and calming tones originate from her childhood home, which was filled with tones of Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, and other greats. Having grasped the true essence of country music. The first song Vanessa wrote, “ Hurtin’ Over You” went to #1 on the European Country Charts (International mainstream country music charts top 40), and songs like ' Not Too Old To Love Again and “I Love You Way Too Much To Say Goodbye” followed suit.
Vanessa took her big step into the limelight when she went to Nashville to record her first album, YOUNG AT HEART, in 2020. Not only did this album win her The Will Rogers Award for ‘Pure Country Female Artist of the Year’ (Academy of Western Artists), but every song she has released from the album is on almost every country radio station from Australia to Europe to America.
In 2022, she headed down to Nashville once again and brought home her second album, and it too received great reviews by The Country Peoples Magazine, placing her on a 4-6 page featured artist on the first week of release of her album ‘Give Me A Break’. The biggest thrill was when Vanessa walked the Red Carpet at the Grand Ole Opry for her nomination at The Josie Music Awards for “Traditional Country—Artist Of The Year 2022 and was nominated again in 2023 for the same category.
